Harrisburg, Pa. - Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education (PASSHE), which enrolls more than 83,000 students and serves more students from Pennsylvania than any other four-year college or university system in the commonwealth, has awarded Housing.Cloud a five-year statewide contract for housing management software following a competitive Request for Proposals process. Under the agreement, each of the System's 10 universities may adopt Housing.Cloud's cloud-based platform on an as-needed basis to manage student room selection, housing assignments, occupancy, billing, and residence life operations — giving campuses a modern alternative to legacy systems and a streamlined way to support the on-campus living experience for students and the residence life teams who serve them.
Housing.Cloud was selected through PASSHE's competitive procurement after meeting the State System's requirements for functionality, data security, and value. "We're thrilled to bring Housing.Cloud to Pennsylvania," said Geoff Bartakovics, CEO of Housing.Cloud. "We built a cloud-native, intuitive platform for the next generation of students, and we've seen firsthand that when student housing is managed well, it stops being just a place to live and becomes a retention engine for the institution. We're excited to bring that same student-centric focus to our partner universities across the PASSHE system."

The State System universities are Cheyney, Commonwealth (Bloomsburg, Lock Haven and Mansfield), East Stroudsburg, Indiana, Kutztown, Millersville, PennWest (California, Clarion and Edinboro), Shippensburg, Slippery Rock and West Chester universities of Pennsylvania.
